Communication skills has been my speciality over the 10 years experience I have had delivering training for New Zealand Tertiary Institutes, including Auckland and Waikato Universities, and for academic instututions in Japan and Venezuela. I have a BA degree in foreign languages and English linguistics, and a Post Graduate Diploma in applied linguistics, which specialised in adult communication training.
I have three years experience writing training and technical documentation within the engineering and IT industries and believe that concise documentation and training are an integral part of an effective product or service.
I have been a paraglider pilot for four years and I like to take advantage of good wind conditions to go flying as often as possible. I am also an active member of the Auckland Hangliding and Paragliding Club and have taken on the role of club president. However when the weather is not suitable for paragliding, I enjoy cycling or walking.
